Avocado, Spinach and Pineapple Smoothie

Green smoothies are saving my ass right now!

I have been super busy lately, and being able to just pop everything into the blender and then take it to work with me, is a lifesaver. Previous to taking my health coaching program at the Institute for Integrated Nutrition I had only ever had all fruit smoothies. But now, I am converted to the dark side. Give this recipe a try, and I’m confident you will agree, green smoothies rock!

plain, organic yogurt to cover the blades of the blender

1/2 pineapple, peeled and cored

2 bananas

3 cups of fresh spinach

1 avocado

 2 cups filtered water

spoonful of Maca powder *optional*

Blend until smooth, creamy, and delicious!

Enjoy right away or store in a mason jar and drink within 12 hours
