DIY Poultry Spice

I’m all about making something yourself to create superior quality. Do It Yourself Poultry Spice is 100% better than anything you can buy at the store. This might have just been one of our homemade Christmas presents this year, and our family LOVED them.

Try it out for yourself.

It can be hard to recognize the power of herbs and spices when we’re so used to seeing tiny flakes and powders at the store. By starting with whole spices, seeds, or herbs, you create a product that is far fresher and more flavourful that anything you could buy at the store.

After you try this spice mix, you will never go back to the old store bought kind.

What You Need:

4 tablespoons of dried thyme

4 tablespoons of marjoram

1 1/2 tablespoons of dried rosemary

1 tablespoon of ground black pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons of dried sage


What To Do:


Super simple, just combine all these ingredients in a jar, cover with a lid. Shake it up to combine.


This mix will last 3 months in an airtight jar at room temperature, or a year in the freezer. If you put it into the freezer in a freezer bag, make sure you double up the freezer bags.
