Meet Amanda

 

Hey, I’m Amanda.

 

 

I’m a Mom, Certified Health Coach and Author who is obsessed with gardening and everything food. I believe we are what we eat and backyard food production can heal hearts, bellies and mama earth.

While I am living the life of my dreams today, that was certainly not always the case.

I used to waitress, party, and treat my body like shit. From not eating, to overeating. I was a mess.

I chronically felt not good enough, and treated myself accordingly.

A friend bought me a book on self reliance, and I was hooked. I started a small veggie patch, and every time I harvested dinner, I felt a little more awesome.

And then I became slightly obsessed with food production. I was shocked at what we are eating. This obsession lead me to The Institute for Integrated Nutrition. I fell in love with their idea of health, how your whole life integrates together. It’s not just food and exercise. It’s your relationships, career, spirituality, even your home environment, that play just as an important part in becoming healthy.

My life completely changed, using food and lifestyle changes I revamped my entire existence, I was the pillar of health…

AND THEN I HAD A BABY

The thought of creating lavish healthy meals, on 2 hours of sleep, you guessed it. Hello processed foods. I knew the signs, low energy, bitchiness, low self esteem, negative self talk, laziness, weight gain, I was becoming my food…

Fast, Cheap, and Easy

 

Using my training and coaching experience, I developed new healthy habits, like planning and prepping food, stocking up on healthy snacks, freezing left overs, and finding accountability through group coaching.

 

Now I’m living a life i’m completely in love with.

What really gets me excited? Watching you take that leap of faith, and make those changes to feel amazing again. It’s not just about eating better, it’s about changing your life so you feel better, permanently.

And that’s my passion (or obsession, depending who you ask), helping you to make that change too and feel sexy and healthy.

I COACH BUSY MOMS MASTER THE ART OF LETTING GO, GET MEGA DOSES OF NUTRITION THE EASY WAY, MAKE THEMSELVES A PRIORITY AGAIN AND FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR TRUEST SELF. ALL TO FEEL BALANCED AND BEAUTIFUL PERMANENTLY.

 

 

 

I focus on real food and nutrition, but in a unique way.

I know that everyone has different needs, that’s why I will teach you how to listen to your body, instead of giving you a list of foods to avoid. I also talk a lot about loving yourself, making yourself a priority, taking your career to the next level, and having fun again.

I love after a coaching program when my beautiful clients can’t recognize their previous life, and glow from the inside out, minus the baby weight of course.

I enjoy gardening too…it’s so therapeutic. .I lose all track of time..barely remember to stop and eat or even drink. ..I have onions and garlic that overwintered. ..my raspberries look promising…my strawberries are waiting ti be thinned out…I hope to be planting lettuce, spinach, maybe kale soon..I also have 4 blueberry plants I hoping will be prolific this year….
